Every device has an expiry date
Google publishes an end-of-support year for every certified model, and most of the cheap refurbished stock on the market runs out partway through a three-year term.
That is the single most expensive thing to get wrong in this business, so we check it before anything else. Our rule is simple: a device's support must run at least a year past the end of your term. No exceptions for a good price.

Converting hardware you own
The support date is fixed to the hardware, so converting an older laptop buys you the years that model has left. We tell you exactly how many before you commit, per device.
Hardware we supply

Frequently Asked Questions
Which laptops can run ChromeOS Flex?
Most business machines from roughly 2016 onwards do. Google maintains a certified model list, and we check yours against it during the assessment before anyone commits to anything.
How long will ChromeOS Flex be supported on my devices?
Google sets an end-of-support year per model, ranging from 2026 to 2033, after which the device stops receiving updates. We check every model against Google’s list before we quote, and we never supply hardware whose support ends before your term does.
What happens to data on a laptop when you install ChromeOS Flex?
Installing ChromeOS Flex wipes the device, so anything stored locally must be moved to Drive first. That migration is part of the rollout, not an afterthought.
Can you run Microsoft Office on ChromeOS Flex?
The web versions of Word, Excel and Outlook run fine. Desktop Office does not, if a team genuinely depends on desktop-only features, those users stay on Windows and we manage a mixed estate.
Do printers and peripherals work with ChromeOS Flex?
Most modern network printers work natively. Older or specialist hardware with Windows-only drivers may not, which is exactly what the assessment is for.
Can you reverse a ChromeOS Flex installation?
Yes. The original operating system can be reinstalled, which is why we always pilot with a small group first, so you find out on five devices rather than fifty.
